This book is very exciting and interesting from from the begining to the end. It tells how Abigail almost dies as a child. She lived through the Revolution. Abigail also marrys the second President and is the mother of the sixth President.

The book provides a down-to-earth, common-sense approach to building a financial nest-egg and maintaining it efficiently. The book does not only teach you how to create wealth, but among other "reality checks" embedded throughout the book, the author reminds you that increasing your income is not always the key to getting control of your finances. But controlling your finances simply requires you to live within your means -- I like that! Therefore, I recommend this book highly for anybody who wants to lower expenses, while at the same time increase and keep her/his income through the use of easy, common-sense strategies.

I have read this book 3 times already and I find it exceptionally, very easy reading for those who do not want to read a lot of pages of any type of book. I think the author is very knowledgeable of who the Moors are and who they are today. Very good work and anyone interested in learning about the Moors should definitely pick this one up.

I have worked with hundreds of books and materials teaching EFL/ESL in Asia and the U.S., and this book has the some best listening activities out of everything else that I have seen. One of my favorite features is the that the cassette uses a great variety of voices and accents.

Addressing Violence is an excellent book on the subject of American violence. Although the book speaks specifically about a situation that occured in Springfield, MA, it is relevant to circumstances across the country.

The chapter dealing with America's culture of violence really gives insight into how hypocritical it is for Americans to be shocked at any act of violence. It speaks plainly about the fact that we are inundated with violence everyday and actually enjoy our indulgence in it.

This is a must buy for those exploring ways to address violence.

I bought this item 3 years ago at a small African American bookstore. When I went to buy another set, the store has closed.. I found it Amazon.com and I am so happy. The kit is a great way for little African American girls to visually learn about their history and pass it on to their friends. The stamps are so cute each envelope carries a story..... Very colorful look at a time in our history where we were beginning to rise above a past of oppression.

I bought this book because I already owned it's predecessor (same title, but for VS COBOL) and had found it to be extremely valuable. I still have it and use it occasionally when I have to work on old programs and need to clearify something. I have been coding in COBOL since the late 1960's. This is the best book I have ever owned on the topic. It is well organized and provides the answers I need when confronted by something I do not have committed to memory. I have used it so much it is falling apart and I need a new copy. I own several other COBOL books (about a half dozen) that are not bad, but this one is the best. I have been hoping Dr. Brown would come out with a new version covering COBOL for LE. I will buy it if and when he does.

This is a fantastic book for someone who is interested in implementing an advanced controls project, but may have been intimidated in the past with the complex math, tools, etc...The first two chapters have a about 1000 years of practical experience in the proper use of final control elements (valves, transmitters, drives, etc...). Highly recommended!

I am a student of Dr. Brown. I must emphasize that the book that he has edited and a part of which he has written, is just excellent in its quality and quantity. By quality I mean its the best book on packaging that I have read and by quantity I mean the book has something on everything. Most of the books are like a lot on a topic and very less on most of the other topics, but this book surpasses everything. It treats every chapter fairly and equally. The book will not make one an expert in packaging, but would surely make one fell satisfied with the content and knowledge. I hope that other readers too would find this book good and informative.
